December 17 , 2005, Philadelphia, PA— Louise Nevelson: Small Works, a survey of small-scale works completed between 1957 and 1985 by this pioneer of assemblage art will be on view at Locks Gallery from January 5th through the 31st, 2006. The opening reception will be held on Friday, January 6th from 5:30–7:30 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.

Works on view will include intricate wall reliefs constructed of wood, collages of found wood, paper and fabric elements, and Nevelson 's intimately-scaled box sculptures.
