The accompanying fully-illustrated publication to an immersive exhibition at Locks Gallery in homage to French author Alfred Jarry (1873-1907). Contemporary artists Thomas Chimes, Rebecca Horn, and William Kentridge recreate the beguiling atmosphere of Jarry's absurdist scenarios, with an historical prologue of artworks by Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Pablo Picasso, and Man Ray. This exhibition was organized in conjunction with the 2011 PIFA Festival, the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts.
